Terms
Plain-language terms, kept as short as we could while still being genuinely useful if something goes wrong.

Pattroo is a self-tracking tool. You define what you want to track, log values against it over time, and Pattroo looks for statistical relationships in that data — correlations, trends, and a few other kinds of patterns — and shows them back to you.
Pattroo is currently invite-only, while we test with a small group. Access, features, and pricing may change as the product develops.
Pattroo is not a medical device, and nothing it shows you is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. The patterns Pattroo surfaces are statistical observations in your own data, not clinical conclusions. Correlation is not causation — a relationship Pattroo finds between two things you track doesn't mean one causes the other.
If you're making health decisions, talk to a qualified professional. Don't rely on Pattroo for anything where a wrong guess could hurt you.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know at hello@pattroo.com if you think someone else has access to it.
You need to be able to legally agree to these terms to use Pattroo. If you're using it on behalf of someone who can't (for example, a minor), that's on you, not us.
What you track, log, and write in Pattroo is yours. We don't claim ownership over it. How we handle it is covered in our Privacy policy, not here.
Don't use Pattroo to:
We can suspend or close accounts that do any of this.
We build Pattroo carefully, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or exactly right. Statistical patterns can be misleading, especially with limited data — Pattroo is built to be upfront about that (see: "Built to be honest, not impressive" on our homepage), but the responsibility for what you do with what you see stays with you.
To the extent the law allows it, Pattroo isn't liable for damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on what it shows you.
Because Pattroo is still early, features may change, be added, or be removed as we learn what's useful. We'll try to give notice for anything that meaningfully affects how you use the app, but we can't promise every change will be flagged in advance.
You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@pattroo.com. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, or — while Pattroo is invite-only — accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, to make room for others testing the product.
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and, where the change is significant, let you know directly.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
